NASCAR contest drives exhilarating web response for Stanley Vidmar
Allentown—Klunk & Millan recently helped Stanley Vidmar leverage its NASCAR relationships by offering its customers, potential customers, and race fans the opportunity to enter the "Race to Phoenix with Kasey Kahne" contest. The grand prize included a weekend getaway to Arizona and a meet-and-greet with Kahne, driver of the #9 Budweiser Ford Fusion.
Klunk & Millan customized a targeted email campaign featuring the contest and encouraging recipients to "race to StanleyVidmar.com to enter." Emails were personalized from each storage sales engineer with results tracked individually and collectively.
By embedding a tagged URL in the email blast communication, Klunk & Millan was able to track results by monitoring how many recipients opened the mail and clicked-through to the contest entry page. The results took first place—with click-through rates reaching an impressive 37.5%.

Buzz, Tech Shop Magazine, Professional Distributor Magazine, other industry publications, and various racing-related blogs. Site visitors to StanleyVidmar.com increased by more than 2,400 the week the contest was announced over the prior week and maintained high traffic the second week of the contest.
